Vector norm
Vector norm: A function assigning length or magnitude to a vector under positivity, homogeneity and triangle-inequality properties. L2 measures Euclidean length, L1 sums absolute values and L-infinity uses the maximum. Normalisation divides a vector by a norm. This perspective connects the definition with practical behaviour in artificial intelligence systems.
