Llama: A Meta language-model family released in variants of different sizes and capabilities, including downloadable weights. Downloadable weights do not automatically mean complete open source. Licence, data, deployment and hardware requirements determine practical use. This perspective connects the definition with practical behaviour in artificial intelligence systems.
